Our key areas of expertise include Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs), marine ecology, biodiversity and conservation management including Lender Compliance (e.g. International Finance Corporation (IFC)) for biodiversity and ecosystem services, Habitat Regulations Assessment (HRA), marine consents and licensing, underwater noise impacts on fauna, environmental protection and fisheries.

We specialise in the provision of robust, expert services and strategic advice for major infrastructure projects, particularly marine renewables and upstream oil and gas. Our project experience spans the UK, Europe, West, East and Southern Africa, the Middle East and the Gulf of Mexico.
Expertise and Experience
With over 17 years of marine and coastal consultancy experience Medley Marine’s in-depth knowledge and expertise ranges from strategic consenting advice and project feasibility, through all stages of ESIA, to construction, operation and decommissioning.

Our project experience includes numerous Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs) and obtaining and amending Development Consent Orders (DCOs). UK and ROI experience includes, but is not limited to, the following offshore wind farms: Dogger Bank Teesside A&B; Dogger Bank Creyke Beck A&B; Kentish Flats Extension; Dudgeon; Race Bank; Galloper, Westermost Rough and Codling Wind Park.
Other project examples include Neuconnect interconnector and London Gateway Port Development. As well as novel marine energy projects including Perpetuus Tidal Energy Centre (PTEC) and Enabling Future Arrays in Tidal (EnFAIT).
Our international project experience spans Europe, West, East and Southern Africa, the Gulf of Mexico and the Middle East. Projects include Yemen LNG, Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP); East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP); Rovuma LNG; Citla Energy, the Amaala Regional Development Project and NEOM.
